Hello, Cleaning Hero!
Get ready for those BBQ and grass stains, Cleaning Heroes! We hope that you're having just as much fun as we are welcoming the summer months.
Thanks to those who completed our Color Grabber Survey—we received some very helpful feedback. As promised, we entered all responses received prior to June 1 into a drawing for 20 fantastic Carbona goodie bags. Congratulations to the lucky winners! If you'd still like to give us feedback, we're excited to hear from you. Please feel free to take the survey if you haven't already.
Store upgraded, minimum order gone!
We're also excited to announce that we've completed an upgrade on Carbona.com and have been able to remove the $25 minimim order amount. Wanted to purchase the Color Grabbers, but can't get them at a store near you?
Now you can purchase just one (or many more, of course) at Carbona.com.
Here's a link to the Store Locator if you want to check that first. (http://www.carbona.com/storelocator.aspx)

Monthly Cleaning Tips
Need a microscopic vacuum hose? Sometimes those narrow spaces are too small for even a handheld vacuum. Put duct tape over your vacuum's hose, poke a hole in it and slide a regular drinking straw slightly into the hole. Seal it on by duct taping around the straw for a mini hose with plenty of suction power.
Oil stain on the driveway? If it just happened, pour kitty litter on top, let sit for 1-2 days, then remove. If it's been awhile, start with pouring warm Coke (not diet) on it. Let soak overnight. Rinse with warm water mixed with dishwashing liquid and then with the garden hose.
Quick tip from Carbona: If stain is a substance like chocolate, BBQ sauce or butter, use a spoon or butter knife to lift it off. Never scrape fabric with something sharp as you could rough up the fibers. Never rub a stain! You'll work it into the fibers instead of removing it.
