Carbona Cares

Carbona Cares is a nonprofit initative by Delta Carbona L.P. The program is supporting Ubuntu Now, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing sexual assault and domestic violence.

Its current focus is on South Africa, one of the countries with the highest rate of sexual assaut in the world. The organization offers psychological support to victims, including those who have contracted HIV/AIDS as a result of these crimes.

Carbona has made an initial contribution of $10,000 to the organization. The funds are being used to sponsor two community organizors in South Africa.

Ultimately, Ubuntu Now envisions the development of South Africa into a peaceful, non-violent nation that will be a positive example on the African continent.

The community workers are sharing images on Ubuntu Now’s Facebook Fan Page and videos on the YouTube channel.

Carbona is continuing to raise funds for the program through the sales of its Stainwear shirts and various other activities.
